Refunds & Returns Policy

Because our products are handmade, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

We offer refunds or replacements if:

• Your item arrives damaged

• Your product is faulty

• You received the wrong item

We take great care when packaging your order, using protective wrapping and FRAGILE stickers to help ensure your products arrive safely and to alert the courier that your parcel contains fragile items.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If your item is faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrect or does not match its description, please contact us with your order details and photos where appropriate. For items damaged during delivery, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of delivery, so we can investigate. This timeframe does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances and your rights under the ACL, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy.

Candle Safety & Care

Candles contain an open flame and must always be used responsibly.
    •    Trim your wick to approximately 5mm before each burn.
    •    Never leave a burning candle unattended.
    •    Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.
    •    Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
    •    Do not touch or move a candle while burning or while the wax is hot.
    •    Never add water, oils or other substances to your candle.
    •    Do not use a cracked, chipped or damaged candle vessel.
    •    Do not burn for longer than the recommended burn time of 4 hours.
    •    Allow the candle to cool completely before handling.
    •    Always follow the warning label and care instructions supplied with your candle.
Wax Melt & Melter Safety
Wax melts are not for consumption and must only be used in a suitable wax warmer or burner.
    •    Never add water to melted wax.
    •    Never leave a warmer or burner unattended.
    •    Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.
    •    Do not overfill the wax dish.
    •    Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
    •    Never touch or move hot wax.
    •    Allow wax and the warmer to cool completely before handling.
    •    Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your burner or warmer.

Always use Chanty & Co products only for their intended purpose and follow all supplied warnings and care instructions.
To the extent permitted by law, Chanty & Co is not responsible for loss or damage caused by misuse, use contrary to supplied instructions, unauthorized modification, or continued use of a product that is visibly damaged or unsafe.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

We respect your privacy. Personal information provided to Chanty & Co, such as your name, email, phone number, delivery address and order details, may be used to process payments and orders, arrange delivery, provide customer service and operate our business. Information may be shared with trusted service providers where necessary to complete these services, including payment, website and delivery providers.
We do not sell your personal information.
